We begin by fine-tuning your instrument
We will go deep into the body through somatic journeys of breath, sound and movement to clear old and stagnant energy and create space for the rivers of life to flow through you.
Embodiment, rhythm and singing practices fine tune your body to open your channel and be used as an instrument of the divine.
Singing together harmonizes our frequencies to create a prayer field where every woman’s prayers can be laid into fertile ground - this is how we have created all the miracles in our lives through the ancient technology of prayer and ritual with the sacred waters and sacred fire.

Vocal Activation Freeing the authentic voice through breath, tone, and creative flow. Learning how to open your singing channel to allow the wisdom of your musical creations to flow through you.
Trance & the Magic of Sound Entering altered states through rhythm, vibration, and melody. Bring your frame drum/buffalo drum! You can also have a drum custom made for you waiting for you at the retreat.
Feminine Radiance & Expression We all have experienced jealousy, comparison, and competition. Here we get to lay it all on the altar and dissolve it by truly understanding jealousy is an inner compass- telling us what we want to experience and who we want to embody. We allow these emotions to bring us closer to our hearts and our women friends, opposed to farther from them. We see each other as unique expressions of the Divine Love made into feminine form and celebrate each woman's beauty. Ixchel Munay is a mystic and lover of beauty who supports people to return to wholeness. With embodied wisdom that has been gathered in 20+ years of walking the path of self inquiry, yoga, plant medicine, permaculture, conscious living she has supported thousands of people around the world in immersions and 1:1 sessions to come home to themselves. Forever a humble student of nature, indigenous wisdom and the ancient teachings of yoga, she is a carrier of sacred songs and has held song circles and cacao ceremonies around the world for the past decade. Ixchel is devoted to authenticity, keeping it real and creating spaces free of judgement and full of magic where we can feel safe to let go of the masks to experience true intimacy and connection. She is a community builder and cofounder of Yacumama Eco Village in Costa Rica, Chakya Muna artist community in Bali and Living Wisdom, a platform for her online work focusing on integration. Ixchel is committed to seeing the part of you that is already whole and holy as a loving sacred mirror that invites a remembrance of who you truly are.
JAC GAZAL
Jac Gazal is a musician, sound healer, somatic practitioner and facilitator devoted to guiding women back to the wisdom of their bodies and hearts. Her journey began sitting in circle and ceremony with women —witnessing the power of being seen, held, and softened in sisterhood—and this has become the heart of her work. Rooted in somatic healing, ritual, and sacred sound - Jac weaves together practices like somatic voice activation, embodied movement, meditation and ritual to create spaces of deep presence and connection. She believes that our voice is a powerful tool for healing and authentic expression connecting us deeply to our wombs, hearts, and to each other.

Seven-Day Immersion in Costa Rica: a living ceremony of sound, womb, and feminine devotional practices in sisterhood.
Two Integration Calls After the Retreat: to anchor your experience, bring the practices home, and stay connected to the web of women.

Location
Yacumama is in Ojochal, a small town near the Pacific Ocean, known for its international fine dining, which is part of the Ballena (whale) Coast.
We are 30-40 minutes south of Dominical and 15-20 minutes south of Uvita, where the Envision Festival has been held for the past ten+ years.
Yacumama is a 3-4 hour drive southwest of the international airport, SJO.
From San Jose or other airports in the country you can also take a 45 minute flight on a small plane with Sansa or even hire a small private plane to Quepos airport which is about an hour drive from Yacumama.
