Testimonial

There are approximately 1200 Yawanawa living in the Brazilian state of Acre, in villages along the banks of the Gregório river, where they have made their homes since time immemorial.

The Yawanawa people's first contact with the non-indigenous world happened around the 19th century. It was an intense period of much conflict with the rubber barons and missionaries who invaded their lands and tried to forbid Yawanawa language, culture and spirituality. In the 1980s, chief Biraci Nixiwaka Brazil led his people in the fight for the recognition of their native territories, and the Yawanawa became the first indigenous people to obtain the official rights to their lands in the state of Acre.

The Yawanawa have since then reclaimed their sacred medicines, rituals, song and dance, festivals, games, traditional body painting and adornment, artwork and food, in a profound journey of cultural revival.

Testimonials

In 17 years of yoga, plant medicine, meditation, and self-development, I have done a lot of retreats.
Nothing came close to what these two masters are embodying and teaching. I witnessed and
experienced so much transformation during those 5 days, I signed for up for next retreat too. My
fellow mystics, please tune in and prepare yourself for a quantum leap like never before.

Meeting the high priest was a blessing that I, that is beyond really the logical mind's ability to comprehend. It was such a gift and I feel, I felt a lot more peace, a lot more joy. I was much more inclined towards meditation and a lot of things in my life started to make sense and fall into place. And, and my innate gifts and dharma came more online

- Michael

This retreat has been highly activating and transformational for me . I felt often pulled into profound visions and had very blissful night experiences, as if I was receiving soul surgery .
All the while feeling very embodied, more able to share my gifts and facilitating spaces of healing for others . I feel very blessed to receive the activations of spiritual elders who have deep wisdom , and who can share this field of living intelligence without plant medicine .
I am excited to reunite with them and go even deeper with like minded people
